Quality Assurance: The Foundation on which JTM Foods is built

The rapid growth of JTM Foods would have been impossible to sustain without adherence to the highest standards of product quality.

To assure that these standards are met, JTM Foods has been granted a number of certifications for quality assurance.  Here are just a few of them:

Your Key to Freshness Dating:  Reading the Julian Code

JTM Foods, like many food producers, uses the Julian Code to establish the date of manufacture.

Here's how you read this code:

Example: 62522

6 is the year 2006
252 is the 252nd day of the year
2 is the shift

This product was made on the second shift of September 9, 2006.

GMP:  Good Manufacturing Practices

JTM Foods maintains the highest standards of product quality.  To do so requires the full partnership of every employee.  That's why all JTM Foods employees must sign a document stating that they have read and will abide by the company's GMP guidelines.

These guidelines govern:

  • Personal hygiene
  • Workplace cleanliness
  • Safe handling procedures
  • Standards of conduct
